Hear from deadly guest speakers paving the way for Treaty, justice and land rights: locally and around the world
Connect with other young mob who are passionate about speaking up for justice and organising in their local communities
Build your skills in community organising and storytelling for social change through interactive workshops
Hear about ways to get involved in training and action with Common Threads this year
The Youth Day will take place the day before our national Common Threads First Nations Summit - where mob of all ages and regions will come together. If you’re over 18, you can express interest to join the full summit here.
What to expect
Building power for thriving Blak futures
Our mob are leading the way for a future where everyone can thrive: healing our lands and waters, building stronger communities, and standing up against injustice. As young people, we carry the legacy of our Elders forward as we stand up for our rights, our Country and our communities.
We’re strongest when we can connect and learn from each other. That’s why Common Threads is bringing together 100 young mob (aged 16-30) from across the continent for a day of connection, training and inspiration on Kaurna country.

Summit Application From
When will I hear back about my expression of interest to attend?
Expressions of interest will be assessed on a rolling basis and we will be in touch with you as soon as possible.
When do expressions of interest close?
Expressions of interest will close at 11:59pm AEST on Wednesday 6th May, or earlier if all 500 places are filled by this time.
If you require travel support or a scholarship, please complete an EOI by Friday 24 April.
